Mind Intent Boxing
Five Fists

Hsing I Boxing is one of the three major internal Chinese Martial Arts. Hsing I Chaun or Mind Intent Boxing derives its name from the fact that it takes the essential idea of each form it mimics. A strong point of Hsing I Boxing is that even when one is attacking, one still protects oneself and while defending also attacks. Every technique contains fa jing (shooting energy). In this course San Ti Su or Hsing I's fighting and meditation stance will be taught. This stance strengthens your entire body especially your knees and shoulders. This stance will teach you to be structurally solid and relaxed at the same time. The Five Fists will be taught, Splitting ~ Smashing ~ Drilling ~ Pounding and Crossing, along with applications.

Master Pat Hancock, who has over 30 years of experience in Chinese Martial Arts, will teach these classes. He founded BODY BALANCE in 1985. In 1996, Pat, was the Hsing I weapons champion winning the gold medal at the international Kung Fu competition. He was the 1986 bronze medallist at the World Kung Championship in Taiwan. His courses in Tai Chi, Kung Fu and relaxation techniques emphasize the individual needs of every student. Pat Hancock's BODY BALANCE has been featured on Channel 9's " Capital Edition," the Washingtonian Magazine and Tai Chi Magazine. His programs have been recommended by a number of area physicians.
