I started Tai Chi class December 2010 for weight bearing exercise.   I have osteoporosis and I broke my hip (femur bone) July 2010.  I had therapy twice a week for 6 weeks, but still had difficulty doing every day things: walking up and down steps, getting in and out of the car, needing to hold a chair to sit and stand, taking a shower, squats.  Taking Tai Chi has made my body, knees, legs, arms stronger.  Now it takes little effort.  Tai Chi is teaching me to deal with stress, to relax.  My attention is improving and taking direction.I was able to work in my flower beds this spring and thru summer.  I have more flexibility, gradual gains in strength and balance.Thank you Pat and Patty.  You guys are awesome.
