Tai Chi Research

Originally Tai Chi was based on traditional Chinese medical concepts. Now, Western researchers have found positive results from their initial studies and are eagerly exploring how Tai Chi produces its benefits. One study of the immune systems response to viruses suggested that Tai Chi may enhance the immune system of older adults and improve the overall quality of life. Another review found that Tai Chi reduced participants' blood pressure. Tai Chi has been proven to have very positive effects on the physical and mental health of individuals.
