Lisa DeLima

Lisa DeLima is a Certified Level 1 Tai Chi Instructor. She entered into our apprenticeship program in 2010 and became certified in 2015.  Lisa has studied and practiced diligently and has become an excellent, well-respected instructor. Lisa continues her studies in Tai Chi Straight Sword, Tai Chi Broad Sword, Ancient Style, Tai Chi Two-Man Set, Push-Hands, Combat Tai Chi and Taoist Meditation.

Kate Aloise Majarov

Kate Aloise Majarov has been a Tai Chi player since 1992 and a teacher since 1995.She began her studies under Master Pat Hancock in 2000 and began assisting and teaching in 2004. Kate is a certified instructor in Tai Chi, QiGong, Meditation and BaGua by Master Domingo Colon and Master Frank Allen. Kate is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and holds a B.A. in East Asian studies. Always a student, Kate finds teaching the most rewarding way to further her Tai Chi studies and help others.

Patricia Hancock

Patricia Hancock began her study of Tai Chi in 2004. She instantly became a diligent practitioner of Tai Chi after realizing the significant effect it was having on her health.Patty continued on to become a licensed massage therapist and a certified Tai Chi instructor under Master Hancock. She also has a broad knowledge of dietary and herbal remedies and is pursuing the ancient Maya way of healing. Patty continues in her passion for learning and teaching and brings a special warm energy to the classroom.

Shi-Fu Musetta Engle-Pratt

Shi-Fu Musetta Engle-Pratt began her studies here at Body Balance at the age of 10 and earned her Black Sash at the age of 17 and is now working on her 2nd Degree Black Sash at the young age of 20. She is Master Pat Hancock’s full-time apprentice and lead instructor of the kids program and assists Master Hancock in the Adult program.   She has trained several students who have medaled in both forms and fighting in international competitions. Musetta has earned several medals in Kung Fu and Tai Chi in the US International Kuo Shu Tournaments in sparring and forms since 2007.

Shi-Fu Michael Reed

Shi-Fu Michael Reed developed his passion for martial arts early in life. Mike began his study of Tai Chi in 1985 and started with master Hancock in 1987. Mike earned a Black Sash in Kung Fu and also has an extensive knowledge of Hsing I Chaun. He is a certified Master Instructor of Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Hsing I. Mike is the senior Tai Chi instructor at Body Balance. He continues to follow his passion for martial arts and enjoys furthering his knowledge through teaching others.

Master Pat Hancock

Master Pat Hancock is a disciple of the Tien Shan Pai system. He is the head Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Hsing I instructor at Body Balance and enjoys teaching all students from beginners to the most advanced. He began his studies in 1973 under 64th generation Grandmaster Huang-Chien Liang. With Shi Ye Huang’s blessing he built his own school in 1987 after taking bronze medal at the World Kung Fu Championship in Taiwan. In 1996 he earned an international gold medal in Hsing I Chuan.
